Will Boruto Get Byakugan

This is just me but since the series hasn't tell us yet. Anything you hear is just that. Pure speculation. But if Naruto is to be believed then the sword will probably be obtained when something “sad" happens in Boruto's life while the Byakugan wi.... Boruto Uzumaki may not look like it, but the hero is still part of the Hyuga clan. Even without the Byakugan, Boruto knows how powerful his mother's family is, and the entire Leaf Village knows the same. The Hyuga are not to be messed with, but in a recent chapter update, Boruto fans were informed the Hidden Leaf has developed a weapon that subverts a key power of the clan.. Boruto is not aware of this obviously and we’re probably going to get that scene when Boruto actually officially awakens the Byakugan for the first time. Most likely in the first arc of the series or I guess, technically the second arc if they indeed adapt the Boruto and arts or the movie content and skip over the meat ski and the Sardis stuff.. Honestly, it's hard to think of a genetic mode of inheritance by which Himawari would have the Byakugan but Boruto wouldn't. It works if the Byakugan is dominant (autosomal or X linked), but that would mean that Hinata is heterozygous for the trait, which is unlikely since she comes from a pure Hyuga line.. Boruto can use Gentle Fist despite not possessing Byakugan. However, it is a leveled down version of it, and Boruto cannot perfect Gentle Fist unless he awakens his Byakugan or manages to use Jougan to make up for it. VI. Flying Raijin.
